'Key Elements for a healthy Safety Culture’
Himanshu discussed some of the elements that are required for harnessing a healthy safety culture in a Company. He also spoke upon aspects of human behaviour, and strategies that a company may consider to improve better cohesion between ship and shore.
Himanshu Chopra joined sea in 1997 as a Deck Cadet. He has sailed primarily on gas tankers and attained the rank of Master in 2011. From 2013- 2015, he has performed audits on various types of vessels managed by AngloEastern Ship Management Ltd. Himanshu is presently working as Asst. QHSE Manager with Anglo-Eastern. AngloEastern presently manages over 600 ships.
The talk was followed by a lively question and answer session, discussion continued at the buffet afterwards.
