Harbourfront talk : Mr. Nicholas Brooke, SBS, JP, has been the Chairman of the Harbourfront Commission since its establishment in 2010. The Commission was established to succeed the Harbour-front Enhancement Committee (HEC), to advise the Government on harbourfront planning, design, management and other related matters with the objective of fostering and facilitating the development of the Victoria harbourfront. In 2012, Mr. Brooke was awarded the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) in recognition of his distinguished public and community service, particularly his significant contribution, as former Chairman of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.
Wine tasting : House of Fine Wines will share some exciting tips of how to ‘Taste wine like a Pro’. Sharing insights on how to judge a wines age by its colour, identifying the aroma and flavor of wine, the concept of balance and quality in a wine in a light hearted friendly atmosphere. Five European wines with different characteristics, from vineyards in Italy and France, have been selected for the event.
Hot & cold canapes etc : There will be a selection of hot and cold canapes sourced from the FCC and served by professional waiters, available for guests to enjoy during the evening, as well as soft drinks, beers, tea and coffee, should they be required.
